Our love story begins with Delta Gamma's Winter Formal and a blind date courtesy of our friends Sanj and Michael! After an *awkward* introduction, we instantly hit it off and spent the night singing, dancing, and bonding over our love of country music!

With 900 miles between Nashville and Minneapolis, we spent breaks from school traveling back and forth, meeting each others' families, and taking the other on tours around our hometown!

We took our love international traveling around Paris, the City of Love itself, and London, a city that will one day hold an extra special place in our hearts!

Fun Fact: We both said "I love you" for the first time at the exact same time, which was midnight of the 2017 New Year!

After graduating from Indiana University, we moved together to Nashville!

Max's job took him to the West Coast for all of 2019 while he lived in Seattle and then California's Bay Area. We went back to long-distance dating during this time, but that didn't stop us from continuing to grow our love story!

Max moved back to Nashville (finally!) just as the pandemic was starting. We spent our quarantine days together trying new recipes and watching a lot of Netflix...

Also this year we moved into our first home together!

We welcomed a new member to our family this year! We took Stella home on December 4th (just a day before our 5th anniversary!) and quickly found out that raising a fur baby is a LOT of work. It was all worth it in the end as she's become the center of our lives and we can't imagine life without her!

Max's Story:

If you know Katie, you wouldn't be surprised to know that she was running quite a bit behind for our "reservation"! I had told her that we were going to a nice restaurant just across the Tower Bridge our first night we arrived in London. As we were walking to dinner, I "received a message" saying our reservation was cancelled due to being more than 30 minutes late... which just happened to "arrive" right as we approached the bridge. I suggested we grab a drink along the River Thames, watch the sunset, and scope out a new dinner spot. Unbeknownst to Katie, this was my plan all long! The bar that I suggested we go to while we discuss dinner didn't actually exist and I had hired a secret photographer posing a tourist who captured this beautiful and unforgettable moment!

Fun Fact:

Our actual dinner ending up being McDonalds at 3am after a night of celebrating!

We've spent this past year planning our dream wedding and we're so excited for everyone to see what we've come up with!
